Description Okay, context behind this. A few months ago, hosted a Robot Master contest on DA. The goal was to design a fan-made Robot Master that fits into one of three categories, Tag Team, Multiple Limbs, or Detachable. You can see his announcement for it at the description of the pic below. -->

Another thing is, we were not allowed to show our entries publicly until the contest was over. Which is why I am just submitting this now.

Sadly, mine didn't win. These were the winners. -->   twitter.com/UnstableReact0r/st…

Since the contest is over, I figured I'd share mine publicly now. This was my entry to the Tag Team category, Ranger Man and Horse Man. Personally, I didn't like designing these two, because I actually hate Cowboys. But I couldn't think of any other idea that had not been already taken, since earlier ideas I had, like Temperature, Polarity, and such, that go together, were already taken at the time. A Cowboy and Horse Robot Master duo was the best idea I had, even though I did not like it. Horse Man was initially going to have 6 limbs, but then I thought no because he looked too much like Centaur Man. Also I had in mind something that would link him to the unnamed Police Robots seen in the Megaman series, like the kind that Fake Man was an imposter of, and also appeared some in the comics too.

The description:

Ranger Man was an early model of robot designed for law enforcement. He was the predecessor to police robots whom ones like Fake Man was a counterfeit of. Although he was built to operate in a variety of land environments, Ranger Man was assigned to patrol areas in the west. He was equipped with a lasso to non-lethally catch criminals, and a specialized magnum to take on foes where it was necessary. He did a good job at taking on wrong-doers, though the humans he worked with usually complained about how violent he could be out on the field. Eventually when the police bots were designed, they outclassed Ranger Man in efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Ranger Man wasn't going to let them replace him and sought to continue as a freelance robot. Soon though, his own age started to take its toll on him and without human supporters, he was unable to receive proper maintenance. Even worse when his scheduled expiration date came and he was going to be disposed of.

Before he could be collected though, Dr Wily then took this opportunity and stole away Ranger Man. Ranger Man originally wanted to apprehend the criminal scientist, but unfortunately was too crippled at this point to fight back. Wily then offered him a deal, if he were to join his ranks, he would supply him with the proper maintenance and retrofitting in order to evoke his retribution on the police bots he hated. Realizing how the humans did not appreciate his work and were so quick to cast him aside, Ranger Man accepted. This worked even better in Wily's favor too, as for getting rid of the Police Bots would go a long way in his evil plans. Not only that, but his similar design to them helped Wily in the creation of Fake Man.

After he was retrofitted, his lasso was enhanced to work also like a grappling hook, and his magnum was modified to fire specialized bullets that bounce off of surfaces, while simultaneously targeting the closest enemy. Since then he has been now hunting down and eliminating every single police bot he could find, for the sake of revenge. He has become an outlaw wanted for a huge some of money for the demise of dozens of police bots.

Horse Man was a robot master created by Dr Wily. He was initially a simplistic robot simply meant to haul cargo, but kept complaining about how mundane his work was. After Ranger Man joined his ranks and was retrofitted, Wily decided to give Horse Man what he wanted by weaponizing him and assigning him as a partner to Ranger Man. His combat armaments included more powerful Servomotors in his legs for stronger kicks, a cannon that fires large explosive projectiles built into his mouth, and the ability to rotate his lower half independently. Horse Man usually walks on his hind legs, but he has retractable hooves on his arms in order to walk on all fours if needed. He enjoys finally being able to do more than just carry things to and from the same place, and doesn't mind that he's helping a robot outlaw.

Before reaching the Boss Chamber, Ranger Man would appear in certain areas and fire sudden Ricochet Magnum shots at you then run off.
In the main Boss Battle, Ranger Man and Horse Man would fight you together at once. Similar to Gemini Man, they have a shared HP Meter. Horse Man would attack by rushing towards you and kicking with his hind legs, as well as shooting cannonballs in an arc from his mouth. Ranger Man would jump around and fire bouncing bullets from his magnum. Occasionally he will also try to catch you with his lasso, leaving you open for Horse Man to attack you with. Horse Man would assist him to perform more acrobatic jumps by tossing him into the air or having Ranger Man jump off of him.
Once they are down to 1/3 HP, the two activate their Speed Gears. Horse Man then starts rapidly spinning his lower half and creates a sandstorm tornado in the center of the chamber. While Megaman is on one side of the tornado, Ranger Man then stands on the other side and starts rapidly spraying bullets everywhere from his Magnum. After a few moments of this, Horse Man over-exerts himself with the Speed Gear, causing him to malfunction and explode.
Ranger Man then tries to avenge Horse Man by attacking more aggressively for the remainder of the battle. In this, he now uses his Lasso to swing, due to not having Horse Man to jump off of now. If he manages to catch you with his Lasso this time, he will instead toss you over his shoulder and shoot you out of the air. He will also try to take more advantage of his Rebound Magnum and use trickier bouncing shots that may be more difficult to avoid.

Ability Gained:
Megaman gains from Ranger Man and Horse Man the Ricochet Magnum ability. When used, Megaman fires a specialized bullet from his Mega Buster that bounces off of surfaces and enemies a couple of times. Unlike Gemini Laser or Rebound Striker, when the projectile bounces, it also tries to aim itself to the closest enemy near it as it does, making it easier to hit multiple enemies with this attack. Using the Power Gear with it both makes the bullet do more damage and bounce off of surfaces more times.

While using it, Megaman turns tan in color and gains a similar cowboy hat to Ranger Man.

Preferred Gear: Speed Gears (both of them)

Entrance Speech:
1. Ranger Man: "Looks like you've come to the wrong place at the wrong time!"
Horse Man: "He's right, we ain't horsin' around!"
Ranger Man: "We're the fastest bots in the West!"

2. Ranger Man: "This town ain't big enough for the three of us!"
Horse Man: "Him, me, and you."
Ranger Man: "Now, DRAW!"

After Horse Man's Death:
Ranger Man: Horse Man, NOOO!!! Okay, now we settle this like robots!"

After Range Man's Death:
1. Ranger Man: "Guess we're off to the final roundup!"
2. Ranger Man: "You really do have True Grit!"
