so I was trying to watch Glory one saturday. stepped outside for a smoke and there's a fledgling robin begging at me. I said 'find your mommy' and went back to my movie. went out later for another coffin nail and lo and behold there's that bird, begging at me still. so I put him up in a bird cage for overnight and began hand feeding him. in the afternoons we would go out for exercise. he'd practice flapping on my arm. one day, a ginormous flock of robins passed by and he joined them. mission accomplished! godspeed, little dude.
