...finished. Hugh Laurie in case you did not notice
Cannot exactly remember when did I start it, probably more than 6 months ago. Did not need as much time as the first portrait of him though...
Well, I'm not satisfied with it either. Not at all. I had a much more detailed drawing in mind when I started it. My first portrait of him was made almost 2 years ago, and I thought I would see some improvement between the two. Yet I don't, and it frustrates the hell out of me that I somehow know I could do better, yet cannot. Not saying it turned out that bad, just thought it would come out way better. This must be the result of doing something when you do not really feel like doing it I suppose...
Anyways, thank You again for your constant support - despite my inactivity and laziness
Though starting tomorrow I'm working for 3 weeks, so barely will have time for dA again (summer part-time job, as I mentioned not so long ago...) But will try my best to catch up with You Now the "keep tracking myself" part:

Time: 25-30 hours or so
Tools used:
Paper: 80g
Pencils: 4H, HB2, HB, 9B, 2B mechanical pencil
Tissues, Q-tips. Nah, no eraser.

I'm envious of your blending skill! His skin looks very smooth, the texture of his clothes is excellent and his beard looks very realistic.
I also like that you used a different pose, instead of the looking-straight-at-you-slightly-annoyed photo everyone seems to use when drawing House.

Well Helionn i must say i was spreading ur first portrait of him around my country, making people know how good one can get, and i do understand ur frustration, its a type of mental block, where u want to do it better, where in ur mind u picture it so awesome and yet ur hands seems not capable of doing it u.u i fully understand.
Aside this becomes part of ur masterpieces since the piece indeed is awesome, i hope u could find the path for the improvement that u seek. ^_^

Wonderful... Fantastic! You are a pencil-master! For example, I couldn't draw any of the Calvins of my avatar... But draw is an example of proportions, details, contrast and composition... That smile is cool
