This is actually the only form of RoChu I ship, and I do love these two together. Shame they're not as popular compared to the other forms.
On a side note: I don't want to hear any comments on how "it would be better if it was Ivan x Yao/Ivan x Chun-Yan/Anya x Chun-Yan" or whatever. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and therefore so am I. At least respect that I ship it in this way, and that I truly don't care whatever way you ship it, as long as you don't believe your way is better than mine.
Nobody's method or ship is better than another's.

I like them in this form too. Personally, I like their yuri counterparts together too. But Yao x Ivan and Ivan x Chun-Yan I don't ship, personally. XD

I'm unsure why, but I just can't like the yuri version of it. Though then again I'm very picky with my pairings, so...
Everyone is free to ship however they want - they are also free to say if they hate or dislike a ship with a passion, but once more: hate the ship, not the shippers. Eh, if they start shit with me, they're just asking for a world of pain. Thank you, and you have my back~

LOL, I'm a huge China/Yao fan but RoChu's isn't my number 1 pairing with him. This is due to how the fandom tends to portray him as the blushy blushy weak uke who always gets forced sex on him or something of the sort and Ivan as the intimidating seme... e.e I literally cannot stand that kind of portrayal, especially Yao being a sumissive weak thing because we all know he's not! Same for Ivan, he may look intimidating (and I know he might act like it) but the poor guy's also looking for friends... Really, I wish I could stop seeing those two portrayed like that...
Now that I think about it, I have seen a bit of Heterochu works and those seem to be some of the few moments I'm not seeing Yao portrayed as a uke and Russia portrayed as a possesive seme. I wonder why? Also, it's too bad we can't see more Nyo!talia x Hetalia fanworks because the Nyo girls look awsome and Fem!Russia is one of my faves next to Fem!China. She looks like she'd be a force to be reckoned with (also, she has one of the prettiest MMD models I've seen!).

That's precisely why I despise Yao x Ivan. They're both portrayed unfairly, and when the time comes around with their entries on the Character Journal series, I'll be sure to address those issues. China is a strong nation, and Russia is actually like a child. I wish they'd stop portraying it like that, too - just because China has long hair and is more feminine looking: it's giving unfortunate implications that if a guy looks feminine, he's weak and girly. =w='
It's probably because in real life, Chinese men and Russian women are a very common combination in marriages, so they're not portrayed so negatively, I would think. It is a shame there isn't as many Yao x Anya, though I'll probably change that with more works on them, as I do love this couple.

It's sad that those two get that kind of treatment. It's that OOC portrayal that makes me dislike RoChu so I'm glad you plan on addressing those issues when the time comes. One of the few RoChu authors I enjoy though is Maegaard as she tends to portray those two pretty accurately (And Ivan is so sweet and adorable in her works to Yao!) No no nope, Yao is not a weak person, especially considering his history. He's an amazing character that's had to get tough both physically and mentally for the bad things that happened to him. Poor bae needs more respect.
Yes, do give them more protagonism! They deserve it! Plus I like the idea of Anya being the one who helps out Yao like all those pics we see of Ivan helping out Yao, but for some reason when I imagine Anya doing it I get this big ol grin on my face. I like the idea of strong girls that can take action and protect the guy every now and then. 
PS On another note I saw your video for Worldvision!! I love the idea!! And I'm a fan of Eurovision. It's become a sort of family tradition to watch it every year. ^^ Also, a good chunk of the songs that you've chosen for some of the European countries are faves of mine (though tbh I started crying when I saw you gave "endless love" to the Chu's. I love that song so much and Chun Yan and Yao are my babes. You literally made me happy!) Oh and one more thing, thanks for giving my homeland "Algo Pequeñito". I was wondering for a moment if it would be "Dile que la quiero" but I think "Algo Pequeñito" suits Antonio more. ^^

Okay, I'm now screaming in excitement in my head as I stare at this beautiful drawing, especially in Himaruya's art style. (Also, a good portion of people that I've talked to on DA that say that don't really ship RoChu, but they do admit that they like Yao x Anya!)
