..:.:: Reunited — Description
"Though I cannot fly to the skies, I can give you my wings
They will say, 'You’re not alone anymore'
And the words will tear off your loneliness
Even pessimists can fall in love and be changed
If the path you have chosen reaches a dead end
Then why not lose yourself there?

'The waning moon looks like a knife'
I felt a sense of déjà vu as you said that

In the mids of premonitions and confusions
I was looking for your eyes
In this world where some doors can only be opened with two people"

When I heard about Digimon tri, I was excited to be hit by nostalgia. Instead, I was met by disappointment: pointless new character, old characters were very unsympathetic, plot-holes and bad story-telling, and what happened to the 02 cast was just highly insulting. And yes, I'm one of those people who do like 02 - even with its plotholes and below average development, it had far more potential than tri and there's a cheesy charm to it.

However, something good did come out of me watching tri. I was rewatching the Digimon series I grew up with - Adventures, 02, and Tamers - and looking up some clips from the future seasons. And after watching Beelzemon's moment with Jeri/Juri (I still get shivers at that scene - Derek Stephen Prince did that scene well), it made me realize something after looking up his and Impmon's line: Impmon can Digivolve into Wizardmon. Yep. The line would go something like:
Impmon (Rookie) -> Wizardmon (Champion) -> ??? (Ultimate - I imagine Reapmon/Baalmon) -> Beelzemon (Mega)

And so, my mind ticked and led to this pic and an idea.

Imagine how Gatomon would react at learning that her old friend is reborn into one of the Seven Deadly Demon Digimon? And what if he didn't remember anything since he's now the rampaging yet badass solitary (edgy) Lord of Gluttony? Though in true Beelzemon fashion, he works alone (edgelord) rather than staying with the Seven in scheming to destroy the Digidestined and take over the digital and real worlds to look out for his own interests (i.e. his memories).

Heartbreak then feels and a reunion because quite frankly, there aren't enough happy endings anymore. And Tamers' ending was depressing.
