Italy/Feliciano Vargas [KY Assembly]:
They're both very cheerful, quite affectionate, and are on the ditzy side as they both aren't known for reading the atmosphere well or at all. However, Italy is one who constantly needs saving. I can see America being that one hero who'll always leaps in to save the day, and also rescue the damsel in distress. He'd really like being the hero constantly, and Italy can have someone get him out of trouble. Plus, it'd be interesting to see them have lunch together, and I can see Italy cooking for America a lot. X3

Belarus/Natalya Arlovskaya [Winter Lady and Hero]:
I honestly don't really know for sure why I love this couple, but it was the first America pairing I really like. I still wonder today why I ship it. Because it looks nice? Because of the personality dynamic (despite the fact that in canon, even America got weary of Belarus when she stayed with him for a while)? Or because I'd be interested to see Russia's reaction to that (would he rejoice that his sister finally moved on, or rage that it was someone he didn't like and go all "protective big brother")? Either way, I do like this couple, and perhaps all of what I had described before are the reasons why I ship this.

India/Ramesh Chaturvedi [Hamburger Curry]:
With America's childish nature and sometimes impulsive self to be the hero all the time, to me, it would make more sense that he'd work out with a person who had the patience of a saint, and in this case, I do see India as having that patience. At the same time, I can see him have a good time and let loose with America for once. Also a fun fact - India has the cheapest McDonald's with a Big Mac costing around $1.62 US. XD

Nyo!Belarus/Nikolai Arlovsky [Ahoge Duo]:
Unlike with Belarus herself, I do have more of a proper and set reason why I ship this. It's really more to do with portrayal where unlike how others portray him as a yandere stalker, I portray Nyo!Belarus quite differently. My portrayal of him is more grouchy and anti-social, as well as getting easily irritated, but he starts to soften towards people when they persist with him, or are able to touch certain soft spots within himself. I can see his relationship with America starting off rocky, however as America persists in calling him his buddy and hanging out with him, Nyo!Belarus gets quite taken aback and starts to considerably soften at the treatment he's receiving. Eventually, being won over, and having that cold wall melt down.

Portugal/Joao Fernandez-Lisboa [Cork Star]:
With Portugal's introduction to the character roster, this was actually discovered by accident while I was talking to a friend about numerous ships. Portugal is described as being relatively cheerful, but is at the same time very composed, which, though somewhat similar to America with being cheerful, is very different in that he's more calm in a matter. Sometimes I do like shipping characters who are similar, but I do like dynamics where the two in a relationship are similar, yet at the same time quite different. Another fun fact: Portugal was the first neutral country to recognize America's independence (despite the fact Portugal and England have the world's oldest living alliance).

Macau/Shen Lung [Casino Royale]:
This last one was the most recent, and it was introduced by a friend while during a Skype chat. Needless to say, I fell in love with it, too. It's similar to India x America where both Macau and India have great patience to handle a rambunctious guy like America. However, unlike India who seems almost unfazed with everything (unless someone gets randomly slammed to the ground, like with what Germany did to Prussia during Hetaween), Macau, I perceive, as being more easily embarrassed by more forward moves such as a hand around the waist or being called "baby." It'd be adorable, I would think. =^^=

I'll definitely do more with another character.
