Description
imagine how messed up discord's gotta be considering the timespan between G4 and G5. Ah, the tragedies of an immortal being. Speaking of Discord, I noticed there's not a lot of Discord bases, so what I ended up doing instead is grab a vector of Discord by EStories, trace it and edit it into the G5 version of Discord from the comics. Also, big L to Sunny having Fluttershy's cutie mark as a pin on her bag considering. well. Discord. While drawing this I had a thought as well- I remember a while back someone asked one of the people that worked on G4 if Twilight was gonna outlive her friends, and they said no. What if the reason for that is because with removing the magic Twilight lost her immortality as well? Which brings how Discord is still immortal into question but I suppose as long as chaos reigns, there's gotta be a lord and spirit of it- and that's Discord, and we all know how Equestria was before Sunny came along.
Welp, now to wait for more issues. I can tell they're focusing on Make Your Mark as well as Tell Your Tale at the moment so I can forgive if there's a long wait.
Base by
Original Discord Vector by , I just edited it. A lot.

I actually think there is a possibility Discord might been born as a pony. Remember S9 Ep2 where Discord calls Twilight "The embodiment of magic"? Well, we call Discord "Embodiement of Chaos and Disharmamy". But that doesn't mean he is literally the spirit of chaos, is it. Considering without chaos he dissapers, there is a slight chance the Chaos Magic might be a curse and that Discord only likes chaos because he has to. Not because he enjoys to. He smiles and laughs anyway, cause there is nothing he can do about it. So why be remorse about it? And considering his Chaos Magic gets his friends in trouble every single time, does he still likes his magic or he still has it so he can survive?

the theory that "with the disappearance of magic, Twilight loses its immortality" is destroyed by the fact that, according to the comics, Opaline has existed since Twilight's time. I think that Twilight is placed with friends in some kind of stasis equivalent. (So that at any time convenient to the script it can be returned to raise the ratings.) This perfectly explains why Twilight did not outlive her friends - because they are still alive.

I agree. I believe that Twilight is still alive too.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that detail. Opaline hasn't been. well. Memorable enough in my mind.
