Description
I hold the camera to my eyeas he says
You`re not a tourist here
Straightening his french maid dress,
tugging the sleeves
higher
even higher
above thin wrists, three plastic gemstone rings
His shoulders hunch in and I am instantly reminded
of the way rain turns on cue
(wind-worn)
His eyes drawn to something
on the ground
that I will never be able to see
Pointing to neon angels, he says
Welcome to Harajuku,
[and he looks so lonely that
I want to cry]
Then I hear a click
as his face turns up
toward the Tokyo Lights
And oh, what a picture

It is a photo of the photo they`ve said right. Anyway I think I got the sense of the poem but I dont understand the sense of this line:
"of the way rain turns on cue
(wind-worn)"
Iยดd like some help understanding, waht do you say? what is it cue? you are talking about the clothes? right?
Then maybe I'll be able to say something.

Intriguing. I'll have to look at more of your work.
Nits:
[and he looked so lonely that/I wanted to cry] Should this be in past tense?
"Que" should be "cue."

Okay, I love the way the poem itself is a like photograph of the moment you're photograph. I agree with *Kohakuiro , it's definitely sad, but with the ending (the looking up), it brings the reader up, too.
Write on!
