Description
So technically this is the fast back story.

Appro's mother had to hide his egg since lionfish were used as work mers for the swordfish who belive in gods, with one of them being Ocivus the god of justice, and since lionfish are invasive species and kill other mers alot they thought it was appropriate to take the female lionfishes eggs, which they would take every 1ish years so some of them survived and became slaves/workers either for the royal family or for other working jobs (Farming, weaving, ect.). When the Swordmers came to get their eggs (For lionmer's they have less eggs than normal and only one day unlike real lionfish since they'll have bigger eggs than regular lionfish if that makes sense) with Appro's mother finding only one left, knowing that the guards would see her having a egg when they would go through again. So she took the egg and went to a cliff opening into the open ocean. She wrapped Appro's egg safely in a cloth then dropped him into the ocean, hoping there would be some other types of fish down there to find his egg and take care of him. Luckliy when he hit the bottom a new-born baby sharkmer came and found him, surely enough it was Finn, and brought it to his mother, thinking it was a ball. His mother knew it was a egg since of the little silhouette and a crack but didn't know what type so she took it to her friend who wanted a baby and can find out what it was. So she brought it to her friend and found out it was a lionfish egg, Finn's mother wanted to get rid of it since they are cold blooded murdures but her friend, Liliac, said that the books could be wrong and that it could be a new scientific discovery. After a few days he hatched, growing with his step parents and getting along with Finn. When they turn 16 Appro realizes something different when he hangs out with Finn and just thinks he just really likes being friends with him. It kept bothering him so he asked his parents what it was they said "probably love." With that confusing him he began to understand more and when they turned 18 Appro confessed his feelings to Finn with them being boyfriends.

It's still a work in progress back story but that's most of it.
