Description
edit: As of this week, Robiotic is back! www.deviantart.com/therobiotic------
Robiotic was a huge influence on me when I first discovered the TG community here on Deviantart. Unlike many of my heroes from that time, Robiotic is not still active, and most of their work to my knowledge is lost. None the less, I've managed to hold onto a copy of my favorite piece of theirs called "Fresh Ink" and I finally feel capable of attempting to breathe new life into this really formative work. I realize since there's no way for me to contact Robiotic that I don't have express permission to be doing this. I'm hoping that this is all good, and okay. I also really hope I'm not the only person who remembers this! haha. Anways, please enjoy, and if you by any chance either are Robiotic, or know where to find them, please let me know!

Kind of crazy after all these years your tribute came out right before Robiotic‘s return. Did you know something we didn’t or was this some sort of unlikely happenstance?

Robiotic returned? Where can I find them?

Robiotic actually reached out to me right after I posted this, and I think they were really touched and inspired by the huge positive response to this piece that they decided to make a comeback!

This is a fine piece but since I am a recent subscriber I know nothing of Robiotic, so I can only guess (poorly) at what I missed.

What a nice way to honor another artist. I don't think that they would mind. I imagine they would be honored.

Funny her demanding it for free when i would pay extra if i knew it would do that

Ah I remember those comics. Think I saw them on a Youtube video someone made years ago with a bunch of different TG comics. I always liked how they looked. I think you did a pretty good job paying tribute.
