before you start tripping on assumptions readyO!Since there is waaay to much assumption going around about this whole deal, here let me write it.
Griff is here to stay, Momentian is NOT a april fools, I started it because I was treaded really crappy by someone who called themselves a therian which I had no idea what was.
I do feel like I am something else at times, is it permanatnt? NO, does that mean my movement is a joke and mocking those who have a more perminant issue? NO
HAve I ever written that I am mocking therians or other types of same? NO
so please stop saying I am. sTop assuming I am, assumption is not facts. Assuming I am meaning this or that is just your subjective view and not fact
I use laughter to get used to new ideas, thats how I am, and if you do not like that, I cannot change you, but you can choose how you react and be a mature person and not talk down on me and ecpecuially not call my watchers gullable because they do not agree with your conspiracy.

SO I am not welcome as a Therian because I do not fulltime feel like a fox :C I am bashed, outcasted and thrown out for not being good enough and not being pure in who I feel I am.
I dont feel like a fox fulltime :'C but this spring I just felt more lively and happy and swift as a fox so it fits me to be one right now, why is that so wrong? why am I getting hate for that, are there rules to how long you have to have felt you were one before you can be one. Who wants to be apart of a community that spites those who are different.
I sometimes feel like a pig... Isometimes do when I dont want to shower and just lay back and munch on goodies, I sometimes am a jackdaw, free as a bird and inspired to travel. But they do not last forever because my soul is open and inspired to take on more than one set path.
why am I rejected for being who I am.
therefor I am gonna start a new movement.
Momentians
We who feel the spirit of another in a breif moment and connects deeply to that.
We who know the world is connected to all things, even objects.
I sometimes get so angry I feel like a door slamming, I feel the wood cry from the tree it once was.

Not all otherkin want to be angry, you just met a troll and they bashed you. I don't even know where you met them, but would you like it if I said that momentians should be thrown in a cage with no internet?
Even if you don't like us otherkin, you don't have to be rude. Otherkin are kind souls and we accept all types of otherkin and therians even if you only feel like a fox every so often.

I understand that you have good intentions, but this is going a bit too far.
A couple therians= all therians? I'm sorry but I don't understand that. That's kinda like saying that one guy was mean to you, and then going out and saying that all men are mean to women. It sounds like Tumblr patriarchy (which is very biased by the way.)

It's not damaging whatsoever. Chemical imbalances are what is damaging, as well as humans damaging their psyche. Finding an escape for yourself is often the only way you may deal with life in general and while some people may say mental institutions help, they are the ones that haven't actually been to one, or seen the inside of one. Within what people call 'help' only damages you more, causing you to think on your disabilities and problems. In 'normal and balanced' people, thinking on problems can help, yes. However when you have imbalances of chemicals in your head, it's hard to talk or think about your problems without worsening yourself, thus preventing you from getting better. Escapes such as drawing, believing yourself a different creature, reading, writing, or other things help you push away your problems. While shoving your problems down isn't the best option, it is often the only option available.
If you haven't experienced mental illnesses or have only been told you have mental illnesses for a specific time, you might not understand this. However, being someone with depression and anxiety, and having seen the inside of a mental institution (and being terrified within it, feeling thoughts closing in even if I wasn't admitted to it), I can relate to why people (or beings) label themselves with other animals, creatures and objects alike. It is an escape hatch within a world with no real escape.
Another thing being is that if no studies have been done on otherkin, therians, or momentians, then your very first argument has been proved invalid. However, if there have been (several) studies done on them, and they all came out null and void, then I would understand the first. However, considering the argument going on between the two parties, quite a few of the offended otherkin and therians are mentally ill (which is probably also why they're overreacting so badly to this).
While I am not entirely certain why non-mentally ill otherkin or therians (or momentians) feel the need to express themselves through a different creature (or object), it is likely just the event of being human, and is just that -- they are expressing themselves.
