Tango — Description
Okay, so remember my last deviation? The naga one that was a contour assigment? WEeeellll, turns out it's not PROPER contour. And neither were the other gesture drawings I did. *fumes* So I like to be original and use my own contour style and not have live reference...
So anyway, apparently my other gesture drawings weren't gesture-y enough. They were just like "quick sketches", don'tcherknow. And gesture drawings are all scribble-like and there aren't any lines. Never mind about your sketch style. Oh and by the way, gesture drawings show movement.
Yeah. So I looked up the definition of gesture drawings, and lines are aloud. The POINT of these drawings is to show motion and gain better understanding of movement, not to use one style to do something that just happens to do with motion. *fumes some more*
Anyvay, I decided to take out my anger in gesture drawings of tango, the awesomest dance EVER. I took the ref from the show Dancing With the Stars. (Yes, I know I have no life)
End rant.
Soooo... that's it. I especially like the foot in the top right. Done with Faber Castell pens.

***Oh, and by the way, I looked up gesture drawing pics, and some are just quick lines capturing shape and movement. I'm not the only neat one, dammit! (And I'm not even that neat)
