Beck Model Sheet — Description
Another commission for featuring none other than Model No. 9 himself: Beck! Since there's already a blueprint available of Beck in a T-pose, I didn't feel it necessary to divert too far from established proportions. I just resized his arms and legs slightly to make them closer in proportion to Beck's promotional art. Because the lad has such big hands, I added a profile view with and without the arm for modelling purposes.

Any self-respecting Mega Man fan out there has no doubt heard about Kenji Inafune's new Kickstarter project at Comcept. Designed to harken back to good old side-scrolling shoot-em-up action, Model No. 9 is the spiritual successor to the Blue Bomber whom Capcom has all but ignored. The support for the Kickstarter has been overwhelming, raising over $1'000'000 in less than two days! Since every Mega Man fan out there has pitched in, I've asked Ran-blue to donate the entire commission fee to help with the cause. Inafune deserves it. Were it not for him, I probably would have grown up drawing Dragonball Z or Super Mario instead of his plucky blue hero. I wish him all the best for his new game and urge everyone to pledge something to help the project reach its extended goals. I really want that extra end stage & boss!
