Fairy Tale Tea Party — Description
I've been working on this illustration on and off (mostly off, an hour one week, another hour a month later, and so on) for about six months. I put on some final details today, and although there is more I can do, I'm calling this one done.

The idea is that the "evil" dragon, "heroic" knight, "damsel in distress" princess, and the wizard are all really good friends behind the scenes. Oh sure, they play out the expected drama of "kidnap, slaying, and rescue" in front of peasants and lords alike. But really, they all prefer to sit around a campfire, share a good cup of tea, and discuss the finer points of existentialism.
