Sorry in advance for the wall of text; I figured it'd be handy to gather it all in one place but it ended up being a lot. I tried to make it as organized as possible.

Name: Megan Valdez
Age: Deceased (6-9 at time of death. Megan doesn't remember, herself, and doesn't fully realize that she's a ghost)
Cause of Death: Drowning ; died sometime in the late 90's-early 00's
Family: mother, father, and an older brother . I haven't really named any of them or anything but they're all still alive.

Likes: fighting games, being the hero, cute animal sidekicks , exploring the different areas ('levels') of the Ghost Zone and human world
Dislikes: when people suggest that girls can't be the main character, people telling her she's cute ("I'm a gallant warrior! I'm not cute!!!"), open water

Personality: Megan tends to have difficulties telling what's real and what's a video game, as well as the difference between our reality and the Ghost Zone. These are tied to the way her powers work, the circumstances of her own death, and her lack of comprehension of either one of those.

When she was alive, Megan was kinda shy, except when in her element, which was when she played video games. This continued into her afterlife... only now her 'fired up' mode never turns off. She's very competitive, and loves to have (endless) matches with people that are willing to fight with her ("...best 2 KO's out of 3? How about 5 out of 9?"). She's not an evil ghost and will let you go if you ask (after a bit of a fuss of course), but she never really grasped the concept of moderation so if you don't say anything she'll do this tirelessly until she gets distracted by something (or someone) else.

Megan is incredibly naïve and will blindly trust her first judgement of a person. Sometimes that judgement is correct; she's surprisingly genre savvy and will sometimes spot a bad character easily based on tropes, but she can just as easily be Wrong Genre Savvy and make assumptions based on her own misunderstanding of the situation. If she pegs you as a villain , be careful, because she'll do her best to take you down and 'save the day', unless you can somehow change her mind. Megan is very protective of those she sees as friends or allies. She has a slight tendency to search for 'cheat codes' or ways to game the system in her favor when she's afraid or in a pinch, but will monologue about how that sort of thing is 'dishonorable' and 'not what a true hero would do'.

A few extra notes:
- I'm not even being subtle about Megan's design inspiration coming mostly from Megaman/other video games, but she is also based heavily on myself. She's basically a self insert character, haha.
- Megan has an older brother who is heavily based on my own older brother, and a bit on my friend's brother. I used to watch my brother play video games when I was little, and he is a huge part of the reason why I like them so much.
- Megan's Megaman T-shirt is a hand-me-down from her older brother. (My brother used to give me hand-me-down shirts)
