In the Zenith Continuity, her native timeline, she took the name Symbiote. She found that name didn't work so well in The Continuity at Void's Edge where the Grafted belonged. With the proliferation of grafts, each of them purely organic and evolved over the eons, seemed to clash against the bio-mechanical nature of Liridona's not-so-aptly named Symbiote. This was especially true because it leaned far more on the 'mechanical' of the bio-mechanical description.Nostalgic for home, she thought of birth place and nation of her ancestors: Albania. There, she recalled a gregarious bird called Starlings.
Starling.
It suited her. Starling it was.
