A little context: You probably are wondering why the Metal Virus inside Kit aren't working to fix him. In this AU, Kit cannot live without his back pack because his heart is connected to it. This was Starline's idea to put a secret weakness in case of rebellion. If the back pack gets severly damaged, Kit's vital process goes on tilt, leaving the kid stiff like he's having a stroke. To add salt to the injury, AU Kit was built like this because Amos arrived to Starline's lab... almost dead. He was shot on the back to protect Gabrielle.
