Man that looks so cool. I would love to see some work in progress stuff or a tutorial from you, as well as what tools tools you use. Just saying "ink" can mean so many things lol. I really love the blackness for the eye form, gives is a very strong look thats hard to identify with; making him appear even more monstrous.

As for the ink I used a ball point pen, when doing fine work with many lines I favour a standard pen (biro) do achieve thin lines especially if I want to blend with them...
If I have to fill in a large area with a dark solid colour I either leave it blank to colour digitally of juts use marker pens, but with this drawing being quite small I just used the biro to fill in the dark, flat spaces..
Sometimes the pencil marks show through which sometimes I like, the greyish areas in this are the initial sketch underneath...

-red may be in particular. passionate, active and somewhat violent sure fits the motive
