Backstory: Redmoon was born in shadowclan to hollowfeather and windleaf. As a kit, he was expected to be special, and have an important role in the clan. However in the meantime he had a dream where he was contacted by a dark forest cat, who asked him to become a medicine cat and spy on shadowclan for them. They promised him that they would teach him how to fight as well, in case he needed it. He complied, wanting to become important to impress his parents anyway.
Everyone was very pleased when he became the med apprentice, and he did really well for his age. He checked up on the dark forest regularly, giving them intel that may help them when they needed it. He was given his name redmoon, but at his ceremony his mentor received a warning to not trust him. She heeded it, and did some more investigating into her former apprentice. She found out he was training in the dark forest, and confronted him telling him that place was evil and would turn him into something he didn't want to be. He told her to stop meddling in his life, and that he would k!// her if she threatened him again. Scared of his training having made him stronger than her, she agreed reluctantly. The next 5 moons went by uneventfully, apart from redmoon's mentor's constant fear that he would attack her.
One morning, when he woke up, a cat came in and told him to go see the leader. They told him he needed to see the leader. He got up and went to the leader's den, and the leader told him that he and his mentor had collectively decided to exile him with permission from starclan. He left, resentful and plotting his revenge. He then met a cat called nightshade, who said that she wanted revenge on the clans for doing her wrong too, but specifically on windclan. She and him then started collecting some ex-clan cats, rogues and loners, to start their own clan to attack the other clans. Their effort was successful, and they started training their new "clanmates" in the dark forest. Once they were good enough for a fight, they attacked, windclan first. But little did they know they had a spy amongst them, and that they had informed all of the clans of what was going to ensue, and had allowed all the clans to gang up on them and be prepared. they only just lost the battle, and were driven out and redmoon and nightstar were k!//ed.
They then went to the dark forest, alongside their other fallen clanmates, and do their best to recruit as many new trainees as they can.
