Okayyy… so I have this idea which my sister helped prompt by saying these guys looked like a secret couple during the film XD I really want to see an AU fanfiction where Lizzie and Gordo get together at the end of the TV series and are already a couple at the beginning of the movie (cause I swear they should have been… this show has some serious friendzone and continuality issues).

Anyway.. since the movie is set right after the TV series ends they would still be at the cute awkward stage of their relationship where even holding hands is a big deal and things would be kinda fragile. When they go to Rome, Paulo would still come along but this time instead of helping him cause she liked him, Lizzie would initially turn him down and only eventually help him cause in return he says he can help start her career (maybe its not as a singer since an important plot point is that he thinks she can’t sing but like a model or an actress since Lizzie has shown an interest in those careers). She’s not convinced and Gordo isn’t happy about it either, but he would end up encouraging her to do it as of course he wants the best for her.
As time goes by he can’t help get jealous of the two of them spending so much time together and it puts a strain on their newfound relationship. Eventually he kinds of breaks it off as Paulo becomes all she talks about and then.. I don't know.

I'm not sure how this would end.. NEEDS MORE ANGST haha. They would end up back together but that’s as far as I’ve thought and I don’t have the time to write it like most of my ff ideas, but if any Lizzie ff writers out there do want to give it a try please go right ahead! Just show me once it’s up XD
