...This oilpainting on canvas,(40cm x40cm), is of very special value to my heart while I was painting,I imagined my beautiful and lovely 9 year young daughter,Victoria-Luna ..- how she would look like in about ten Years...usually ,people draw personnages in the present,or from the past,this time I wanted to make my dream ,a" fairy-tale"projected in the future...My little angel is in "springtime" now,while I am already in "autumn"
,and I imagined,how she would be...in her springtime-summer",while I would be than already in "late autumn,almost "winter"...I don't know if You understand,what I am meaning...However, I pray and hope ,that I still will be able to be there,and watch her-being serene,in peace,and under "protection"of "good one's"(here represented as eagle and wolf,and that she will be happy and free,looking around her,as in this scene above....I love her with all my heart and soul,now...and forever... Late Autumn/Winter I think not 
Simply one of your best works dear Flori 
The texture of the tree bark is particularly well done as are the branches reaching down and casting their shadow.
I find it interesting that all the colours are natural and earthy, green, browns and white and with no blues or reds. Perhaps this is the optimistic view of a better world, a place for someone who loves nature. Magnificent work, Dear Flori and a wonderful demonstration of your feelings.

What You express in Your comment ,enchantes me deeply.You are mentioning,that eventually the roles of "protection start to reverse"...I think this observation is mots precious,I didn't realize myelf this eventuality,before I read You...and it seems totally envisageable and even requested or desirable...kind of response to my prayers for her future! ...the choice of the "natural colours" came out quite natural and logical with my feelings,She and I do do LOVE nature,and she is the most natural, innocent and pure creature,one can imagine...it also was in a "special period"of my life,last summer(as you know),and to be constructive in postive thinking and projecting,on values of life itself, was than ,and still is,my strongest motivation ...thank You deeply,again,sweet Allen!

the texture in the tree is unbelievable! the entire picture is unbelievable! i especially like the way you can see the shadows of the branches on her legs. it gives the sense that light is passing through the branches of the tree much like the lighting in "Bal du moulin de la Galette" by Renoir. Awesome work!
