... oil painting on canvas(60 x70cm)once again,, I let my heart speak ,let "float out" my emotions,this is when I am able to create,only, and the best I can.....As I already mentioned,I "open my veins,and let flow out everything "coming from my heart,my soul,treating my pain,my sorrow,or,my joy and serenity-it depends...
Here, of course , expressing a period of deep sorrow, devastation...a grief...a son who is not anymore...
While I was painting this, listened to this very emotional song of Jean Jaques Goldman..."puisque tu pars"("since You are leaving"since You are gone)...

Wow, wonderful work again dear Flori, this is a very fantasy orientated painting. Such a lot here I will probably miss much of the hidden messages or meanings.
What first strikes me almost is everybody is crying but not just the central figure and though there is a strong feeling of loss there is hope with the new child. Also I interpret the figure on the right as an angel emerging from a chrysalis and maybe the white feathers are from this. Disturbingly the rough skeleton sketch may mean the loss is of a child and the eagle is showing concern.
Also the eagle is the only figure actually looking at the women, the rest are looking away in grief perhaps unable to face the women and I wonder if that ghostly hand behind it is on purpose. The karate kid does not look too worried, something wrong there and the door to darkness is next to him.
And lastly the male on the right near the bottom. His shadow is separate suggesting two sides and good and dark side. I hope I haven’t gotten too carried at his interpretation and for taking so long to comment, I have been rather busy lately.

As mentioned in my comment,I painted this several years ago.The karate-kid was nearly 9 years young than,and it was after the divorce of his parents.He went to Greece with his father for 1 month just after the separartion,and it was the first time he was seperated from his mother.And vice-verca.The mother called his son every day on the phone,her only communication with her son,and it was a painful periode.She started painting and expresseing her feelings,so the shell representing in a poetic and esthetical way,her calling him over the ocean.Lots of sorrow,and pain.,treated in the best way she could.Conscience and subconscience,and...premonotions,obvisiously.
The male on the bottom with the shadows,dark and bright...is how the karate-kid is looking today,22 years old.The portrait of the child was of course based completely on reality,than,but could not been possibly prognositing appereance 1' years later,neither the story of the future,being presence,now.And though...
Myself,when I updated this work,looked at it closer,though this painting is hanging on my walls,and I don't even look at it,but I was tremendously stunned,by discovering again,after all those years,all those symbols,and indications,I didn't ven remember,as the small baby eagle near the crying wolf...
This painting is surely one of my very "personals"and dear to my heart.
