...My first collaboration with my dear friend Skot and extremely happy and honored about it ...Skot is a wonderful and versatile Artist and his poems very emotional...a dreamer , just like me
When I first read his poem "Blue Eye Angel" which touched me profoundly, I immediately had the vision and inspiration,of how I would bring it "to life" with my drawing.
Skot left me free imagination of the "how "and trusted me, and I thank him for that, too. expresses his own story or dream in his poem, is telling her's, but the two stories "reunited" in this collaboration are more than coherent,and I hope that every watcher can feel - his /her own emotions...emotions are, what is the most important base of Art...without Heart , no Art...
...I created this drawing with colored pencils, model of the angel is my beautiful daughter, Victoria-Luna

I can write a novel by just looking to that incredable colloboration.
So nice to see your modelling your beautiful daughter on that lovely work. To colloborate with an artist like Skot is another previlidge. And totally afree about your saying; he is also a good visison about dreaming; like you do most of the time...
I fist see that submission on Skots gallery and jusr impressed very much. The poem captured me in first sight. Then I saw you commented a submission of Wiebe with a small poem and decided that you are also a talented to write poems...
Upper side on the right you located a happy moment of an underwater sceene. Both figures are looking at the black eagle; while skot was keeping his dog ( wolf) and his bird with him but " The blue eyed angel is alone and looking for the black eagle to arrive with the lyricks ( poem? ) on his body

Yes, ...my beautiful daughter is my greatest Muse, indeed...she is not only lovely, but very expressive...and in this "story", Skot expressed his "story",and myself mine, but both are very coherent in this emotional collaboration,and -emotions, are what I need , to breath!

İf one can compose an art piece and the product conating different stories and the level of each one leads you to another then, the success is guaranteed. The existance of many different things can add depth to the composition

"love is best source of inspiration" how true. Because I am not a professional I can not capture the photographs of an object that I don't like...
To love our child is so spontaneous; it comes by itself of one's own accord...I can not think any other way. I heard some friend says they can love tehir children in different way. They say some oıf them are more vaulable for them.. I am not familiar to that feeling. Because I have only a child my love to him is unlimited. And I am thinking if he has some negatrive speciality I can forgive them easily. So when you said she is your inspiration because she is not only beautiful ( she really is...) but she is perfect also iside I can belive abnd understand you very well...Wish her luck and wish her ( beautiful ) mother can see her a successful adult.

...You are so very right about what You describe, dear Ayhan, I absolutley agree "about Love being the best source of inspiration"what ever Love it might be.
...what You mention about parents having more children and "loving them in a different way" or feeling one is "more valuable "then the other...I believe, that they mean , a parent can have more "affinitiy" with one child than with another. When You take Your hand , and You can see five fingers on them - they are all Your's, aren't they ,but- each finger has a different size, and maybe also different utility, though , we need them and "love "to have them all... I think , it also depends of the personality of a parent(s) and child (children), depends on their character. We give our child(ren) birth, and eduaction and Love , a whole "baggage" ( I mean good parents), but - we also give them the liberty to developpe - according to their character(s), as I mentioned . And a "character", each person is developping by him/herself,independent and no matter what education a child received.Ther would be many exemples to citate, for sure.I could citate my own life story, as I was not raised up by my parents,and who I became, and who I am , in spite of all...I could have become somebody different, if I would have a different Character or different personnality., I have (had) two childern, but one was totally different from the other;Love was there, and enough for both, because - Love is infinite...and though.

So to conclude, this drawing is a very special one...not only, because it was a collaboration with our dear friend Skot, but it was "my own story" a "healing" of grande Tristesse , a story about a sister and a brother -You see, and maybe also the absence of a father, the "Blue Angel" is very blue, flying above " Northern Lights"and holding the "Moon "(="Luna")to offer - to be healed, to be free...

As You are loving Your son in an "unlimited Love" (how beautiful from a Father, a real Father... I do the same with my daughter...for she is all , I have left.

Very poetic and full of emotions, fantastic interpretation of Skot's poem, I love it mostly the blue color as it really gives a very calm and peaceful atmosphere, very commendable work and a wonderful collabration would love to see more..!!!

I especially like the water spirits at the upper right forming or almost repairing a broken heart
