"Sometimes, the world needs people like you to cry for those who can't."|D I'm so lame.
I wanted to practice drawing men. Since I realized all my males look like scrawny homosexuals. So I decided to draw Ling shirtless when this idea popped into my head.
Somewhere down the story line, Karli is going to be in with the Xingese group and Roz ( 's wonderful OC). I pictured them setting camp for the night in a woodsy area, maybe outside of the slums. Karli's feeling very stressed and out of place, thinking herself a burden to the people around her, since she's pretty much useless in all areas of survival. And, like sometimes we all need to, she walks off a little ways on her own to cry it out. Ling, who wasn't particularly looking for her, happens to notice her on a walk to get fire wood or something. Even though he doesn't appear to be concerned, she quickly wipes her eyes and pretends she hadn't been crying, asking something like "Is Roz's leg feeling better?" (I dunno. Maybe something happens to her leg. This is me daydreaming, 'kay.) Ling plops his jacket on her and sits cross-legged a little ahead of her, looking over at the small village (yeah, I decided they were at the slums were the whole Pride shin-dig goes down) and says, "It's okay. Sometimes, the world needs people like you to cry for those who can't." And, of course, Karli resumes her crying.
I would love to draw this less crappy, because to me it seems like a half decent scene. It's just a quick sketch of an idea I had, maybe sometime I'll clean it up.
