Build: toned body (due to training from SHIELD), a little more than flat-chested (like a B-cup)

Powers:

Can morph her skin into metal (her insides stay fleshy and vulnerable if her metal "armor" is pierced)
morphs almost her entire body but her head
Metal skin-coating allows her to morph her coated limbs to form weapons or blunt objects (e.g., swords, bats, shields, scythes, hammers, etc.)
Metal Layering: has to focus and exude a lot of energy, but she can layer her skin to make certain segments thicker (e.g., if she's trying to keep something from exploding, she can trap a bomb in a spherical shield and layer it so her skin doesn't break, or her arms don't get torn a part)

Personality:

Haley's hard-headed and impatient, so her temper flares at times. Or if she's not physically showing how peeved she is, she's writhing on the inside and can get deadly quiet and glares a lot. She's not good at socializing, as she finds people around her age very intimidating and confusing to her. She's better at socializing and appeasing to adults. So when at SHIELD working as an agent (sometimes assigned to teams), is very cooperative and shows that she can be a good listener. However, she can be pushed to her limits that cause her to get aggravated and want to quit when the going gets tough; but with some great encouragement (usually if the words come from Captain America or Nick Fury), she can get her act together.

Backstory/Origins:
Haley's father, Garret Braun, was a scientist working with SHIELD - he helped create inventions for agents and understand alien technology left behind in invasions (like with what happened in the first Avengers movie). Her father met her mother, an agent, through SHIELD, and they fell in love and got married. Becoming a mother, Elizabeth retired from SHIELD and had two daughters: Haley was born first, and then Haley's younger sister Denise followed after. However, Elizabeth was asked to come back to SHIELD briefly for a covert operation that involved saving scientists from HYDRA (one of those scientists being Garret). She rescues Garret from harm, but dies due to injury on their way back to SHIELD HQ. Despite being angry with SHIELD for asking his wife to come rescue him and having her die, he devoted his career with SHIELD to improving all their technology, to never let a death fall on his shoulders again (unrealistic, but it made him greatly valuable for SHIELD).

As Garret dove deeper into work, Haley and Denise were babysat a lot. However, one day Haley insisted on visiting Garret's work space, and after getting clearance from SHIELD (aka Fury), she was allowed to visit for an hour. During that hour, Haley clumsily knocked over an alien object that was under observation, and it was so sharp it stabbed her through the hand. She had to get operated on at the SHIELD headquarters, as the alien material was causing a strange infection to occur. Though the surgery was successful, and Haley never had to lose her hand or didn't receive any vital side effects upfront, side effects appeared later. Haley's first sign of being able to turn her body to metal came when she and a grade-school boy got into a fight, and as she was wheeling back to punch the boy, her hand morphed to metal and the boy ended up with a concussion and a broken jaw. Haley was suspended from school and taken to SHIELD once they heard of what happened through security tapes (and Garret at first trying to hide her abilities from them).

Of course, SHIELD found out about Haley's new mutation and took her in to conduct tests and experiments (nothing too lethal and scarring, just testing to see how far she could use her mutant power). Seeing that despite her young age she idolized heroes like Iron Man and Captain America, SHIELD persuaded her to tell her dad that she'd like to stay with SHIELD (Haley was young at the time, and didn't know what she was getting herself into). So she stayed on the Hellicarrier to train and was "home-schooled." Haley's sister, Denise - Or "Dennie" - never found out why Haley went away. Garret was advised not to let Denise know of Haley's abilities, so he told Denise that Haley went to boarding school (and blamed it on her being suspended from her primary school).

Weaknesses:

Adamantium (it's stronger than the metal that she creates)

Vibranium (can distort her metal form sometimes, make it fall a part or melt around her, thus making it weaker)

Any hit to the head (as it's not protected by her metal, as it can't reach)

Concentrating (though her metal over her skin comes easily, if she has to layer it suddenly, she needs to focus on that so she's not brutally injured)

Cowardice (can get really freaked out when odds are no longer in her favor and needs encouragement to keep going instead of turning tail and running)

Notes:
Though her shades don't look see-through, they are. And they're high-tech, meaning they can help her hone in on something she wouldn't be able to see with her regular eyes (not like x-ray vision or anything) but help her come up with probabilities and ways to manipulate her environment to her best ability (or point out if a building becomes structurally unsound). Her shades can also lock together to form a silver headband (if she's in no need of it)

- Haley's 15-16 in the Ultimate Spiderman cartoon, but she'd be in her early 20s when she's an Avenger (most likely appearing as a regular agent in the first Avengers movie and then upgrading to an Avenger during Avengers: Age of Ultron or Captain America: Civil War)

also - i changed her outfit just a touch - made it so her belt isn't just around her skin, it's a part of the pants (i should've thought about that a while back, but at least now it's taken care of)

the added part about her mom being an ex-agent is new - and i'm still trying to work out the kinks (so sorry if it sounds off because i haven't given it much thought, but makes sense as i had her not in the picture anyway)
