The 10 images contained herein were actually shot on two different antique "Brownie" cameras by Kodak. The long (rectangular 4x6) format were shot on the famous holiday Box style Brownie, while the square format images were shot using a slightly later period "StarFlash" model.
Both cameras shoot on a film format designated 127, which is bigger than 35mm but smaller than medium format. It was discontinued in 1996, and once the world's stock supply runs out, that's it for these little cameras.

Really nice to see the diverse body types, and I'm glad you shot this in black and white, the shadows are so much more pronounced. I wish people realized how there are different types of bodies and not just the super model perfect type.

I'm quite fond of this picture, though I usually shy away from nude pictures. I think that the film gives it a very special quality. It will also help my study of different body types, so that I can draw more varied people.

Excellent concept and execution. Gotta love the diversity of the female form in every aspect visited in this image. Too damned groovy.

this is just great.
the cigarette I think puts another layer to the title making it not just body types,.. but four body languages, individualities.
the knees of the first and the third figure set the direction in which my eyes move across the photo, and the similarity in the body position of the second and the forth makes me look back and start over.. very interesting indeed. I wonder if the photographer set all those poses or they just happened... anyway brilliant photo imo.. but i don't know anything.

Hehe. I'm not helpful in that regard, sorry. I'm probably one of the most unrepentant smokers I know. Hell, I'm gonna die one day, I may as well enjoy myself
