Description

Thank you all for your interest in my latest project!

Since many of you have been asking questions, I’ll address the most common ones here:

1. Will male characters be added to the game? – Yes, absolutely.

2. Will it be possible to undress/dress characters? – Yes. There will be a sandbox mode where you can spawn characters either clothed or unclothed, as well as a story mode featuring both clothed and unclothed characters. For now, I’m only posting videos with clothed characters to avoid having to mark my posts as "adults only."

3. What is the gameplay concept? – It’s an open-world stealth adventure with Metroidvania elements (meaning certain zones or locations will become accessible as you progress and upgrade).

4. Is there a storyline? – Yes. The plot is a parody of the famous Metal Gear Solid stealth game series. In the story, a secret agent, codenamed "Salad Snake", has his body swapped with that of a giant python so he can be deployed behind enemy lines in the jungle to take out targets covertly. However, the experiment goes wrong, and the government decides to erase all traces of its secret research. The player begins by escaping from an underground secret laboratory, eliminating and swallowing enemies along the way.

5. Will there be a progression/upgrade system in the game? - Yes, players will earn experience points by defeating enemies and completing tasks. These points can be used to upgrade existing skills or unlock new ones, such as extending the duration of a victim's post-constriction stun, increasing movement speed, or gaining the ability to swim to reach flooded areas.

6. Will there be an X-ray mode to see the digestion process inside the snake? - Yes, though it is currently the most difficult part of the gameplay to implement, so it remains on the "to-do" list. If it is added, it will only be available while the snake is stationary; calculating real-time ragdoll physics while the character is moving inside snake, while it moves also - puts an immense load on the CPU, and I haven't yet found a way to resolve that.

7. Will there be a demo, and where can I find it? - There will definitely be one. I simply don’t want to spoil the experience by releasing an overly raw, unpolished version. Once I have a stable build—at least for the training level - I will upload a demo to my https://ffgamingdep.itch.io/ page.

8. Adding community characters via requests - Once the core gameplay is refined, I will begin accepting requests to add your own characters to the game. The only requirement is that the character must be created using the Daz Studio Genesis 9 framework.

9. Audio - For now, the game will be silent; sound effects and voice acting are planned for the final stage of development.

Winter is coming!

And in my country, this season makes development extremely difficult due to frequent power outages - sometimes lasting up to 10-12 hours a day. The situation will likely worsen once temperatures drop below freezing. Furthermore, a 3D project built in Unreal Engine consumes a significant amount of electricity, especially when the graphics card is under load for rendering. At the same time, I need to dedicate a significant amount of time to my primary job as a programmer, which essentially funds all of my game development work. So, I kindly ask for your patience; I often get up in the middle of the night, when electrisity traffic is at its lowest to work on my projects. Please follow my DeviantArt page, as that is where I post all the latest updates on my projects.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already followed me and left comments!

I read them all and will do my best to respond to each one.
