Hold on, I thought Calibre was a generic term used to describe the size (specifically the diameter) of any projectile/gun barrel?
You're not getting confused with 'calibre' being a term used to describe imperial measurements of rounds, right? (like .50 cal, .44cal)

i plan on making one of these that can launch waterballons or sodacans....or tennis balls....this will be hard...if anyone could contribute that'd be real nice!

put a chamber for compressed air inside the stock and put it so that the stock can be opened to charge it. Then put the trigger so that it opens the valve of the chamber, releasing the compressed air into the barrel

Pull the trigger > Release the chamber > Remove the shell > Put in a new one > Close the chamber > Repeat
