Shadowcat sprite — Description
Pixel art is definitely an category I admire a lot, because you have to deal with limitations, when you work under these conditions, you are forced to be creative and try to look for solutions to achieve the effect you want to do. This Shadowcat sprite did gave me this kind of problem, faces and hands are some of the most difficult thing to draw in this resolution, you have to find ways to trick the eye of the viewer and position the pixels and colors on the right place so it result in a plausible "face" or "hand" for the character.
I draw it on a paper, scan, resized and animated on Fireworks, it would probably be a mugen char, but not for now.
