I don't find it very erotic, either. I think the human body is something that is taken too seriously. When presented in the right light, it can be utmostly sensuous and erotic but in other lights it can be simply beautiful, plain or even distasteful. In this case, I would say it's more plain than anything else. It is more like a statement of how the human body can be completely normal and not in the slightest bit erotic. I would say if you were attempting to show the naturalness of nudity, you would get a gold but as far as erotic, I'm sorry, it doesn't quite go there. But let me just say, it's a good picture, don't get me wrong. I'm just afraid that you didn't quite convey the message/feeling you were trying to get across.

the angle and lack of expression are disconcerting


but i like the lighting in the shot, lovely background you have to work with.


it's an interesting photo, as on the surface, it's a woman, sitting. but if you sit and think, it becomes more..

that doesn't strike me as particularly erotic. more like someone taking off her socks.... but then I'm a girl, I do that sort of thing all the time.

Not a bad shot, however I think this piece would of been alot more effective if the model had some sort of emotion on her face. As it sits it looks like she is just staring at her foot with nothing on her mind.
