Having grown up in the wilderness ranching beef cattle alongside her father and his team, the open plains and the harsh beauty of frontier life is all she has ever known. Unbeknownst to her, her family carries a dark secret that eventually results in her father’s disappearance and her having little choice but to take the reins of his ranching operation, armed with little more than an heirloom gun and his cowhide duster coat. Though prickly and at times even cold, she is a fiercely determined and resilient soul.
