Thanks you! To reply at your question I usualy start my works in black and white to fix the composition, after I add color in a new layer set on color. At this point I can continue to paint and add other colours to create shapes and volumes. In this case instead I start immediately with the colours. ...I hope to being clear to you!

Of course! If you talk about skin, eyes, blood...I use airbrushes, acrylics, chalks, and some custom brushes in Corel Painter. To mix the colours if necessary I use Blender tool.
