Headcanons and stuff (In order left to right)
Pinkie Pie:
Genderfluid and Pansexual/romantic, genuinely gives no fucks about gender in general, lol.
That bandage isn't just a fashion statement, she's very clumsy and often bangs her snout on things. She always carries around a box of bandages in her mane.
Applejack's distant cousin; about... four generations away on the pear's side.
Pinkie has both ADHD and Autism, entirely unmedicated. She used to be medicated when she was a foal on the rock farm, but stopped taking it when she moved away, as she felt the medications sucked out her sense of fun and excitement.
Applejack:
Bisexual/romantic, butch tomboy gal.
Literally didn't realize she was the only neurotypical one in the friend group until the others pointed it out to her. (~~"Oh, so that's why ya'll are so weird-"~~)
Always wearing her farm gear, both because it's a pain to take off and put on over and over, but also because she likes to be prepared in case she needs to pull something. (It's happened more often than you'd think.)
For some reason always looks very well-kept and stunning despite not caring much about her beauty routines; Rarity is very jealous of this.
Twilight Sparkle:
Asexual and Biromantic; she's also aplatonic, so finds it really hard to make/keep friendships. Thankfully, the others are very understanding of this.
She's a Demi-girl and goes by She/They pronouns interchangeably.
Has OCD and Autism
I imagine the stars on her wings move when she does, like the static patterns in Chowder, lol.
She didn't grow out her unicorn beard until after she ascended into an alicorn.
Rainbow Dash:
Also bisexual; She also uses she/they pronouns.
She has unmedicated ADHD, and was never on medication once in her entire life; she and Pinkie initially bonded over their shared struggles with ADHD.
Sharpens her hoof-claws/spurs every morning.
Her markings are based on a falcon.
Fluttershy:
Demisexual/romantic and secretly reads a lot of monster romance.
Fluttershy is a cis woman and uses She/Her
Fluttershy has Autism, which Twilight herself helped get her diagnosed for.
Fluttershy's wings are small due to her more often using them for the hands than for flying.
Rarity Belle:
Bisexual/romantic with a preference for men.
Rarity is transfem; she was born assigned male at birth, and transitioned in her teenhood.

Applejack always struck me as the 'token neurotypical friend' of the group. That's why she's always clashing with everybody; she doesn't get it until the others mention everyone but her is neurodivergent, lol.
