Blue Ringed Octopus the third — Description
The third blue ringed octopus! Commission.

Needle felted wool over pipe cleaner so it can be posed. I dyed the wool myself.

I think this is the best octopus yet. I really focused on proportion and detail this time around. The rings are more delicate and deliberately placed, I added the bumpy texture around the eyes and along the mantel, the head to arm ratio is more pleasing, and ... well, I just fell in love with this one. It was very hard to let it go when it was finished.

My last Etsy order for a while too.
