**Update**
Dads not coming home. When he fell, he broke his back. He'd broken his back a few years ago and it fractured again. They didn't discover this till almost three weeks into his stay despite doing numerous tests, xrays, and cat scans of his back. Having been moved so much the damage is done. He's paralyzed from the waist down. He's so out of it he's barely able to speak. With the multiple organ failure they said he's going to be bedridden the rest of his life however long that may be...

Dad is out of the ICU. He's very out of it still and he's not been eating much. We put in a transfer request to get him moved to another hospital that's in his network of doctors. He's starting to look better though.

I don't generally like to discuss personal stuff online all that much. However I haven't been very active lately and the reason why is not so good.
My dad moved in with me last year. His health has been declining. He has diabetes, kidney failure, heart failure, list goes on. Monday he went to the hospital in an ambulance. He fell the Friday before that was taken to the hospital and released. He was admitted this time in the general care unit. Then Wednesday he was moved to the ICU after his blood pressure went dangerously low. His heart was only working 20% and his kidneys were shutting down. They got his heart pumping better and his kidneys are functioning again.
However now he doesn't want to eat. Tests have come back negative for any digestive issues. He's really out of it and honestly I'm scared. I don't know if he's going to pull through this time. If he does, he probably won't come home. My sister is already considering nursing homes.
Everything just feels like it's piling up faster than I can cope with it. I've been at the hospital every day. Haven't really had the drive to do much.
