Clips 'n Cuts — Description

I am posting a lot of oldies recently, yes (September 2024, yowzers). Traditional art for a change too, we try things!

So I did the "OC Pause Challenge" from one of the shorts on Youtube (warning for flashing colors)and this is basically the result. I didn't really go that far out of my comfort zone (though some options weren't my go-to) but I so rarely get to draw furries, sooo...
Another small challenge (that is not part of the pause-thing going on, it's just me doing this for my own amusement) was to give the OC an "environment" as if they were really a character I'd come up with for a comic, so here's the gist :
It's basically taking place in a world where furries are treated as subhumans so pink rabbit has been sold and done experiments on and their legs probably got auctioned to some high bidders (after all, a rabbit's foot is supposed to bring some good luck, right? the prosthetics weren't even part of the challenge, I just thought they'd do well with the scars). Eventually they got rescued by some other freedom fighters furries and they eventually got to work on doing their research on how to take down the whole slave trade and all their associates. They're a bit of a recluse, understandably so, but for some reason they like to wear some chunky jewelry around their neck and wrists : maybe there's a phantom weight they weirdly miss, maybe that's the prettiest thing they own and need to feel better about themself.

Admittedly, my backgrounds need some work, but the main point was solely the character, soooo...
I saved some other results for other potential characters from the same pause challenge so maybe I'll eventually get to draw them as well at some point, who knows.
