Description
Finally a proper Xenomorph artwork! HR Giger's designs inspired my artistic style very heavily; for several years when I was young I drew nothing but aliens! It's about time I posted a tribute to the greatest monster of all time!

I sketched the alien first with pencil, then painted it with acrylics, and finally scanned it and added the final touches in photoshop. I was inspired by some of the Aliens movie posters with chest-bursters and the like shown in a similar pose. No references were used and I gave it a bit of my personal style, so it isn't an exact replica of the original Alien designs by any means.
