Ceramic Firestar bookends — Description
finally posting this here! i took an intro ceramics class two semesters ago, and for the final project we had to make bookends based off of a book series, or a collection of books with some sort of connecting thing. as with every other furry artist on the planet, the warriors series is what inspired me to get into art! and now 10 -sh years later, im minoring in art and im still a furry. thanks firestar

the class i took was part wheel throwing and part hand sculpting. this was the final project of the semester, the second hand building piece, and the only hand built piece that working out )) (the first one fell apart FHDGSJD)

but i really had a blast making this! it was a neat way to challenge myself and do something different with cats, the one creature i have consistently drawn my whole art life. of course there's so much more i could fix with this and so many more details that could be added, but for a first attempt it turned out surprisingly well!
