Nesting Dragon — Description
This painting is not only my very first submission on deviant, it´s also my first online publication!
It´s one of my eldest dragon paintings and the first where I tried out acrylics. ( Original size 40 x 50 cm, acrylic colour on MDF-Board).
This illustration is sort of Potter fanart, it was inspired by J.K. Rowlings "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them". Ten different dragon breeds are described there, and this is how I imagined a "Common Welsh Green" Mother, warming her brown-and green speckled eggs .
