Description In a realm of marble slabs and twisted corridors, the Courts of Chaos hold their trials. As one would expect from bizarre abominations that exemplify chaos, these proceedings have little to no logic in them. Why they perform these trials is completely unknown, perhaps it is a ceremony that gives them power, or simply a fun exercise that they enjoy. Regardless, prisoners of the court are held on trial, for charges that nobody really knows. These victims are often plucked from different dimensions, where the chaos have enough strength to reach through the veil and suck prey in. Others may be poor fools who have seemingly wandered into this dimension, an act many do not remember. There are a few, though, who are true trespassers. Jumpers who leap between dimensions, and sail through the rivers of time. Those daring enough to challenge time and space may accidentally wind up in this realm, where they are seized by the chaos. All of them are subjected to trials, be it in a group or alone. They stand before a room filled with chaos, facing the Volatile Judge, Erratic Jury and the Chaotic Executioner. How the trial goes is superfluous, as it is the verdict that truly matters. More likely than not, the victims will be thrown into some death trap and be horribly murdered. In a few rare cases, though, they may be found "innocent," be given a slip of paper and be promptly flung out of the courtroom.

Like the Judge, Jury and Executioner, there is another prominent chaos who always seems to be present for these trials. Going by the name "Scribbler," this being is responsible for keeping notes on the proceedings. These notes, however, are pure gibberish. Every sentence and every word are written in completely different languages, with some words being cut in half during the transition process. A single word may be written in a fusion of Mandarin, Portuguese and Braille. To write these notes, the Scribbler simply jabs its claws into thin air, as if maniacally working an invisible typewriter. From an orifice on its side, the dripping documents spew forth. Some researchers have been able to obtain scraps of these notes, and have worked tirelessly in their efforts to translate it. While many believe these writings are pure nonsense, some have claimed that there is actual meaning to the scribbles. Buried deep beneath the mangled languages and flippant grammar use, there appears to be some kind of message written. Be it about the trial or something else entirely. One team who worked on a single sentence for a decade seemed to have cracked a small sample. Unfortunately, their translations revealed a bored Scribbler who took to making fun of one of the victim's haircuts. A few fools believe that these writings may contain universal secrets within them, godlike knowledge that spills onto the sheets like monkeys and Shakespeare. If this is true, it most likely will never be found. The Scribbler not only likes to change languages and tense, but seems to play very loose with the idea of "sentence structure." To make it even harder, these notes do not survive for long when the trial ends. Some may be burned, some shredded, or some strewn all across the courtroom in a bizarre effort of TP-ing. In some cases, the notes may not even make it past the trial, as some bumbling chaos gets stuck in the pouring stream of paper and thrashes about in panicked glee.

As a notable chaos, the Scribbler has possession of a powerful tool that is embedded within its body. While the Judge may have his Hammer, and the Executioner his Axe, the Scribbler bears a Pen. This Pen juts from its face, constantly leaking ink all over the place. This tool never seems to be used, as the Scribbler uses its claws and maw to write instead. It is said, though, that the Pen can be removed and wielded like any other chaos weapon. Though not deadly like the Jury's Gauntlet, the Pen has an odd use. Apparently the pen can write on any surface and cannot be easily erased. When wielded, the Pen begins to erratically write, without the users consent or knowledge. Their appendage will simply be seized by the Pen, as it feverishly writes. It is said that the Pen is capable of writing the user's every thought, dumping all knowledge from their head onto the paper. It can switch these writings into any language at any time, even if the user does not know the language or is even aware that it exists. It also seems to be able to auto-correct itself or fill in blanks, writing in bits of memories that a user might have forgotten. This fill-in behavior has gotten the attention of some higher minds. It is possible, that if the Pen was presented with a half-finished equation or formula, that it may finish it itself, and answer problems that have puzzled civilizations for years. Unfortunately, the Pen has some unintended side effects. Not only does the user have little control over what it writes, but over exposure to the Pen's effects can be detrimental to the mind. In the legends, it was said that the user was driven mad over time, as their thoughts and dreams kept flipping into different languages and structures. How mad the mind must go when it thinks in a tongue it can't even translate or understand...

Another member of the Courts of Chaos! And for any of you who are wondering why it or any of the other chaos' aren't colored, it is because I have no clue how to color chaos. There is no color scheme I could come up with that would satisfy me or fulfill the "chaos" part of their role. So they are gonna stay black and white for some time.
