Professor Meat Shower — Description
"Years ago, they all laughed at him. How they ridiculed him and said that it couldn't be done. At times he felt that they were right, that he was doomed to remain in the family business forever. In the end, though, he stuck with his dreams and never stopped in his pursuit. And after years of study and work, years of sleepless nights and endless research, he finally received the call he had been waiting for. Now with tenure and a popular course on early 1900s literature, he at last felt like he was where he belonged. The endless labyrinths of books and tomes. The classrooms and lecture halls packed with eager students. Truly there was no other place he would rather be. Now these days, as he sits next to his fire place and prepares the syllabus of the coming semester, he looks back at his detractors and laughs. How foolish it all felt now to be haunted by their words. To believe that they were right about how he would never belong in academics. Their comments about how no one would accept a professor that dripped on his own ties or had a head that would get jammed and let out a wet squealing noise. "You're too gross!" they said! "You spray blood everywhere! they sneered! "You twitch and gurgle like a malfunctioning boat motor!" they laughed, but look at him now! Living the dream and enjoying the blessing of each new day! Now if only he could get his family to understand his line of work. It would make the visits home and dinner conversations a bit more relaxing, but then again, it was he who just had to bring up Upton Sinclair's work to mom and dad..."

Just another day of going wonky with names and concepts. I hazily remember what brought this guy into existence, be it something about a salt thing that was a chef, but I don't recall why it went this gory.

At first I was going to make this character female, but then looking at the name and concept I realized that probably wasn't a good idea.
