Decidubus — Description
Found in forested areas, the Decidubus spends most of its time rooted in one place. With its root-like legs and branch-like arms hidden in the soil, it waits for prey to wander too close. Once in range, the Decidubus will launch its large hands at its target and in ensnare it in an iron grip. Its tentacles will then drain the unfortunate organism of bodily fluids and the dried corpse will be tossed away. The tentacles on a Decidubus will continue to grow and thicken, with small, new tentacles sprouting daily. Due to the constant growth, some tentacles will become too large and heavy for the Decidubus to carry. These appendages will weigh down the creature and impede its movements, so it is crucial for tentacles to be trimmed and maintained by a symbiotic organism.
