Imagine this scene... — Description
Some children when their growing up imagine things like see a friend at school or getting to meet the love of their life. Some would imagine seeing a baseball, football, Basketball game, movie, or festival with their family & friends & wondered, "I want to do that when I grow up." Now imagine this scene. It's an early Autumn morning, you live next to a Double Track Mainline owned by a Class 1 RR, you go out to the crossing & for a moment, nothing. But then, the horn of a fast freight breaks the silence of the early hours, as a trains approaching. You watch beside the crossing at a safe distance as the crossing activates for the approaching train. The train comes into view, you see the big powerful diesel locomotives & freight cars hauling it's cargo East to West. You & the crew wave at each other & see the line of over 100+ Freight cars speed by & then the Caboose races by. You & the conductor wave at each other before the train disappears out of sight. That was me, I imagine that in my head throughout my life & I imagine that to this day. Man those were awesome time.
