Tree foot — Description
This was a sculpture I did around age seventeen for a Film called “Voodoo Dawn”. The story had something to do with kids vacationing (like always) and run into trouble with some voodoo priest in the Deep South. A transformation happens at the end of the film and a guy turns into a tree like demon. The film was written by the same writer who wrote the original Night of the Living Dead. It would be one of my first screen credits and I remember being really excited about it, until I finally saw it. I recall the first hour of the movie is watching people walk around and look at vegetation and finally when the big transformation happens, it’s like 10 seconds. I don’t even think you see this in it. Also I remember that I spent about a week on the this sculpture and another person incorrectly molded it and kind of messed it up a bit.
