OCs - odd pair — Description
I was going with 'Rhukan' for the guy and that's the fantasy-universe version of Aqua. They don't make sense together outside of being the odd-orientation of the cast. I thought it might be a source of some comedy to have them hanging around at certain points, sizing up/checking out guys together... ah-heh.
Rhukan comes from a country kind of geographically equivalent to a middle eastern county, the disowned son of a king figure and, essentially, a tourist... He became a popular figure though, kind of a charming, easy-going sort of character. Has a tendency to attract adoring female crowds and lose/damage articles of clothing in most fights, his gayness is largely a secret.
This version of Aqua's more magically potent than others but she's not a fighter, more of a support character. Assistance spells, potions, what amounts to status effects. In other words, she goes unused in the RPG or is a rather active NPC. heh...
