Red Riding Hood — Description
This is an illustration I had to do for my mixed media illustration class. We had to do a book illustration on the red riding hood reprensenting a part of the story, a global idea or a metaphore. We had a more modern version of the story that was made for a more adult audience. I decided to represent the moment when the little girl is crying near the house while her granny is stuck in the closet. I wanted to express their similar pain and yet their differences with the contrasting colors and the movement effect vs a most angular effect. I had fun working with acrylic and making textures! I should do this more often!

For the commissions, I'm working on it but my school works have to go first! </strike>
