The mother of Tianna Wispein, and one of the top researcher on Grimm in all of Remnant.
She, and Alexandr Goldenfur worked together for many years at Merlot Industries, and eventually became lovers on the side. Due to their research under strict rules and observation, they couldn't technically be together or even marry; for fear of losing focus and jeopardizing their work. So when Lianna became pregnant, they knew they couldn't keep the child. Alex, with help from his friend, Cruor Haema, had Lianna prematurely induced and Tia was born after only five months in the womb. Lianna was told she had miscarried, and continued on with her life, though her relationship with Alexandr became strained at that point. He didn't do this to her because he didn't love her, it was because he loves his work just as much, and couldn't stand to lose both because of a child.
And so Tianna was taken and raised by Cruor, but always knew who her parents were. She could tell from a young age, as she is a rather perfect mix of the two. Alex acknowledged her as his own, but Lianna has never met her, and Tia has only ever watched her from afar, wondering why her mother never seems to see her...
