..:Astrid:.. — Description

Some Faunus are luckier then others and Astrid is one of them. The Aglaia family, her mothers side, have for many generations been in the employ of Vales royalty, as knights, advisers and ladies in waiting. Astrid Tove however is the first to become the royal Mage of the Queen. She has served for many years for Queen Christina, protecting her and being an advisor and friend.

After the death of the King and her only son Queen Christina asked Astrid to find someone to protect her grandson Christian, her new heir apparent. The boy, only six at the time, was in danger from not only outside forces, but within. His own mother, Gina Torchwood, wanted her second son Arjuna to be heir; the spare prince had silver eyes like his mother, while Christian did not.

Astrid sought the help from her former lover Ragnar Sigurd to protect the young prince, not knowing his new lover was a former frenemy from their time learning to be Dust Mages, Adelinde Chiroptera.
