..:A Mothers Facade:.. — Description

Queen Klaudia and her daughter Princess Atara Chiroptera.
Klaudia was born to a misogynistic father and a distant mother. She grew up believing that her life was doomed to repeat these roles, but had hope restored when she was betrothed to the crowned Prince Aretas. However, eventually becoming Queen did not fulfill her as she'd hoped; in her eyes every man was against her and wanted to take everything she had.
All her hopes fell to her daughter, Princess Atara, whom she insisted be made heir apparent against tradition. Though her husband initially agreed, she could see him grooming their sons for this future role.
Klaudia bore six children, Atara and five sons, only one making it to adulthood. Due to prior betrothal deals, there only surviving son could not inherit the throne and Atara was officially the heir.
While outwardly showing her daughter nothing but love and devotion, in truth the child was just a means to an end.
Prove a woman could be a better monarch, prove that her bloodline was worthy, prove everyone wrong about her! Be everything Klaudia was denied!
Atara was nothing but an extension of her mother and even more tragedy would come to pass once she realized this truth.
