...Live Deliciously? — Description
A piece inspired by the 2015 film "The VVitch: A New-England Folktale". I guess this falls under fanart, although it's a bit of a reinterpretation of this scene in the movie. Anyway, this was made with huge thanks to Cambion-Art for his incredible custom reference images, and also for his encouragement, which provided a lot of motivation! I am happy with how this turned out. It has been a long time since I have done a large-scale pastel drawing, and this is my first ever such drawing on black paper. So, given all that, I think it's a success. But, either way, it's time to move on to other things!

Soft pastel (Rembrandt) on Arches black watercolor paper. Original dimensions are 22" x 30"
